Job description

Hotel V is seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. Reporting to the F&B Manager, the Restaurant Manager will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the restaurant, ensuring outstanding service, sustainability practices, and a memorable dining experience for our guests. About the roll!

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring a smooth and efficient service. Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service and constantly develop and follow trends to offer the best products and services
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the restaurant staff, providing guidance and support while fostering a positive and collaborative team culture focused on exceptional guest experiences.
  • Guest Relations: Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and gather feedback and implement strategies to enhance the overall dining experience and build guest loyalty.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Implement and promote sustainable practices within the restaurant, aligning with Conscious Hotels' commitment to eco-friendly operations and source local, organic, and sustainably produced ingredients when possible.
  • Financial Management: Manage restaurant budgets, control costs, and maximize revenue opportunities and collaborate with the F&B Manager on financial planning and forecasting.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with chefs to develop innovative and sustainable menu offerings and ensure menu items align with Conscious Hotels' values and cater to diverse guest preferences.
  • Staff Training: Conduct training sessions for restaurant staff on service procedures, menu knowledge, and sustainability practices and provide ongoing coaching to enhance team performance.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and licensing requirements. Implement and enforce restaurant policies and procedures.

Job requirements

About you!

  • Previous experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices in the food and beverage industry.
  • Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • You speak and write English and preferably Dutch, fluently
