About the job

Reporting to the Rooms Division Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the front office operations, ensuring outstanding guest service, and contributing to the overall success of our hotel at Frederiksplein! What does that look like you might wonder?

  • You will oversee the day-to-day operations and ensure guests have a lovely stay from A to Z
  • Leading the front office team by providing them with guidance and support, creating an atmosphere for EXCELLENCE, and conducting any necessary training sessions to take the team to the next level
  • Building guest relations and loyalty by ensuring their satisfaction, addressing concerns and gathering feedback while implementing strategies to enhance their overall experience at our hotel
  • Encouraging environmentally conscious behaviours among your team and implementing sustainable practices within the front office
  • Being extra efficient in using technology throughout the guest journey and staying informed on trends in our industry
  • Collaborate with your colleagues in Sales, F&B and Housekeeping and join cross-functional meetings to contribute your insights

Job requirements

About you

  • Previous experience in a front office role, with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory or team lead experience.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Knowledge of sustainability practices in the hospitality industry.

  • Familiarity with front office technology systems.
