Project Management Internship

We are Conscious Group! Conscious Group consists of nine hotel, four Hotel V locations and five Conscious Hotels locations, and two restaurants. And right now, we are looking for a project management intern starting in July (or August/September)!

With further expansion in mind, the Project Department of Conscious Group, based in the heart of Amsterdam and Utrecht, is looking for a curious and reliable Projects Intern. The department is responsible for the development of new hotels, safeguarding the quality of our existing locations, our strategic planning cycle, and our sustainability goals. As an intern, you will support the team across a variety of projects and will eventually take ownership of your own set of projects. In addition, you will play a valuable role in the realization of new hotel locations within the group: you will support the full opening process and gain the unique opportunity to experience firsthand how a hotel is brought from the initial preparations to a successful launch.

What you will do:
As our Project Management Intern you are – surprise – responsible for the coordination of our projects. You…:

• Support the project management team with anything and everything;

• Update and help manage resource planning across the company;

• Coordinate projects within your team and projects from other departments;

• Prepare progress reports for your projects;

• Perform research and can deliver a well-reasoned analysis based on data;

• Are jointly responsible for gathering sustainability and quality data and are able to take action based on the outcome;

• Coordinate activities, resources and information;

• Communicate with external partners and everyone within the company, and you ensure that this is done efficiently;

• Have experience in coordinating projects with tight deadlines. You feel responsible and get things done;

• Are able to bring your vision or findings across to multidisciplinary teams by means of visualizations and presentation.

About you:

• You are looking for an internship for at least 5 months, starting between July - September;

• You are studying business administration, hotel management or similar at university or college;

• In your internship you are looking for creativity, responsibility and space to do business;

• You write fluently and error-free in Dutch and English;

• You want to save the planet, but not a sustainability doorbitch;

• You are ambitious, enthusiastic and always up for cool challenges;

• You live in or near Amsterdam;

• Generous internship allowance: €800–950 per month (based on full-time and depending on the duration of your internship);
