We’re hiring for our opening team for the brand-new hotel at Oosterpark!

We’re looking for a Front Office Supervisor to lead our teams at our brand-new hotel at the Oosterpark! Very soon, we’ll open the doors to an exciting new chapter: a sustainable hotel with breathtaking views, rising high above the buzz of the city. Our fully renovated building will feature 88 spacious rooms and 7 stylish serviced apartments – all with floor-to-ceiling windows and views that’ll fill up your camera roll in no time. What you will do

• Department Oversight: manage and oversee the daily operations of the host department and ensure a high standard of service and adherence to Conscious Hotels' values.

• Lead and supervise the host teams, providing guidance and support and conducting regular training sessions to enhance team skills and performance.

• Ensure a positive and memorable guest experience within the host departments and address guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.

• Implement and promote sustainable practices within the host department, aligning with Conscious Hotels' commitment to eco-friendly operations and overseeing waste reduction and energy-saving initiatives.

• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that host services meet the brand's standards and implement improvements based on guest feedback and industry best practices.

• Collaborate with other departments, including Rooms Division, F&B, and Housekeeping, to ensure seamless guest experiences and participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute insights.

• Manage inventory for shop offerings, ensuring optimal levels and minimizing waste and coordinate with suppliers to ensure the availability of quality products.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the host departments and monitor and address any issues related to compliance and safety.

• You will also be operationally involved in the Front Office team.

Job Requirements and Personal Qualities

• You will not see this one coming: you have a passion for hospitality

• You are also willing to work weekends and evenings

• Preferably, you live in or near Amsterdam

• Affinity with organic and sustainable trends is a must

• You speak at least Dutch and English

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in F&B or guest services.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of sustainability practices in the hospitality industry.

• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
