The Head of Project Management plays a pivotal role in shaping that future: from leading new hotel development to ensuring our sustainability ambitions are met, and everything in between.
What’s the role?
As Head of Project Management, you’ll oversee a multi-disciplinary team responsible for:
Hotel Development Project Management
Lead end-to-end development for new hotels and major renovations
Manage design development, construction coordination, procurement, and brand compliance
Liaise with architects, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure quality delivery, on time and within budget
Sustainability Reporting
Drive sustainability initiatives aligned with our brand values
Monitor and report on ESG performance (e.g., energy use, certifications, CO₂ emissions)
Identify and implement innovations that reduce impact and boost operational efficiency
Business Planning
Own the annual business plan cycle: from strategy to execution monitoring
Align departmental targets with corporate objectives, ensuring timely contributions from all functions
Monitor performance against plans and initiate corrective measures as needed
Quality Control
Set and enforce brand and operational standards across all hotels
Conduct audits and implement improvement plans based on guest feedback and internal metrics
Collaborate with Operations and Tech to ensure integration of smart, sustainable solutions
What are you going to do?
Act as internal project sponsor and driver for new developments and strategic initiatives
Translate brand vision into built environment and operational execution
Balance long-term thinking with day-to-day project delivery
Develop and manage project budgets and timelines
Oversee documentation and reporting on all project pillars
Promote innovation and continuous improvement across projects
Lead and mentor the project team, fostering high performance and cross-departmental collaboration
Job requirements
Job Requirements and Personal Qualities
Proven leadership experience in project management, preferably within hospitality or real estate
Strong knowledge of hotel development cycles (design, build, procurement, delivery)
Understanding of sustainability standards and reporting tools (e.g. BREEAM, etc.)
Experience in business planning, KPI management, and strategic alignment
High attention to detail and organizational excellence
A collaborative, pragmatic, and strategic mindset
Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus
