In a hotel that never stands still, there’s always something going on. From a light that stops working to a kitchen appliance that starts acting up. That’s why we’re looking for a Junior Maintenance Emloyee who already has some technical experience and is ready to step into a dynamic hotel environment.
Together with the team, you make sure the hotel keeps running smoothly. You respond quickly to faults, carry out maintenance, and handle repairs. The work is varied: from simple carpentry tasks to technical challenges that require a bit more insight. Thanks to your efforts, rooms remain available and guests experience as little inconvenience as possible.
What will you do?
Independently resolve first-line technical issues;
Carry out (preventive) maintenance and repairs in rooms and hotel facilities;
Perform regular control rounds, such as room inspections, visual checks, and legionella checks;
Monitor building systems and work with the BMS (Building Management System);
Escalate issues you cannot resolve to external contractors.
About you!
You have a hands-on mentality and feel at home in an environment where quick decision-making is the norm. You are service-oriented, think along with others, and communicate easily with colleagues and other departments. You’re not afraid to share your opinion, but you always keep the team spirit in mind. You value sustainability, without overcomplicating it: you think in a practical and solution-focused way. Flexibility comes naturally to you—you understand that no two days are the same in a hotel that operates 24/7.
You have relevant technical work experience - an internship also counts;
You are recently graduated or at the start of your career;
Experience or basic knowledge of electrical engineering is a plus;
You are available full-time and flexible in your working hours;
Preferably, you live in or around Amsterdam.
