As our bartender/barista at Bar Kantoor you feel like a fish in the water – or wine – behind or in front of the bar. You are a true multitasker: shaking cocktails, welcoming guests, juggling with wine bottles (ha, kidding), improving your barista skills by making delicious cappuccinos, refilling and keeping the bar clean, you’ve got this! Also during peak hours, you’re able to prioritize and can sense what the guest needs. This also means that you’re aware when a guest is drunk (could be fun, but you know the fine line). You also know when and where there are empty glasses and which guests is interested in having a chat while they wait.
Inspiring the guests and making a connection with them is the most important part of the job description, so that is what we focus on at Bar Kantoor. Authentic, personal and with humor! As a true storyteller, you like to inform guests about what’s happening in Amsterdam and at Westergasterrein, and of course what Conscious Hotels and Bar Kantoor stand for. Our products are organic and come from local suppliers, and we work as sustainably as possible. We are proud of this concept, and we love to share this!
