Duty & Innovations Internship

We are Conscious Hotels, we have four stylish eco-hotels in Amsterdam. That's not all, in the hotels you will also find two organic restaurants and two coffee bars. Conscious Hotels in the heart of Amsterdam is looking for a Duty Management trainee to make this happen! We also call our Duty Management trainee the Duty Manager of Conscious Hotels! You will support the Head of Operations and Rooms Division Manager with the development of specific internal work structures but also the actual execution of operational processes. You are responsible for carrying out management projects related to various projects.

A day in the life of…

• Supporting different operational departments with targets

• Thinking, proposing and developing ideas to improve products or processes

• Advising together with the Head of Operations and the managers of the departments on operational aspects in which obstacles are discussed with possible solutions and a step-by-step plan for improvement

• Suggesting supplies and improved working methods

• Maintaining and updating the “Wiki/What to do if Book” for the operational departments

• Designing and developing audits for different operational departments

Job requirements and personal qualities

• You are a HBO/WO student (hospitality related, but other fields of study are also welcome)

• You are looking for a collaboration / graduation internship of at least 6 months

• You are proactive, passionate and ambitious

• Wants to save the planet, but not a 'sustainability doorbitch'

• You speak Dutch and English fluently and have a good sense of language

• You prefer to live in or near Amsterdam
