Conscious Hotels is opening a new Restaurant concept soon and therefore looking for a new Sous Chef!
Creativity, responsibility, guest interaction, an open and professional kitchen, making guests happy with your team. The feeling of having your own restaurant and being part of an informal, sustainable and ambitious chain with four hotels, two restaurants and two coffee bars… sounds good? Read on!
What you will do
Executive chef under the supervision of the Head Chef
As Sous Chef you will compile the menu together with the Head Chef and you are therefore creatively responsible
Responsible for schedules, orders, haccp and associated administration
Knowledge of products and recipes
Responsible for composition of recipes, cost price and calculations
You make purchase planning, order the necessary ingredients on time and you are co-responsible for a good relationship with the suppliers
Personal qualities and job requirements
You won't see this one coming: you have a passion for cooking and making guests happy
You have been around for a while, at least 1 - 2 years experience as Sous Chef
True hospitality is in your DNA
Affinity with organic and sustainable trends is a must
You are available full time, flexible and willing to work weekends
Experience with managing a team
You have knowledge of HACCP
You live in the Netherlands, preferably in Amsterdam
You speak at least English
