We are Conscious Hotels, we have four stylish eco-hotels in Amsterdam. That's not all, in the hotels you'll also find two organic restaurants and two coffee bars. We also host meetings, events and weddings. We want our guests to have a great time, so we're always thinking of fresh, creative ways to connect with them. We call that "Eco-Sexy. Big Smiles".

We are a small-scale hotel chain with a lot of ambition, which means that everyone is involved in the growth process. The People & Development department has a crucial role within the company. As an HR intern, you will not only be encouraged to express your ideas, you will implement them and gain a great deal of experience!

A day in the life of...

• Support the P&D team with the development of strategic HR projects related to the four hotels such as employer branding and training & development

• Screen candidates, schedule and attend interviews to gain experience

• Recruitment and selection of interns

• Managing administration and management information

• Is a new colleague joining the company? You have everything ready to go! From clothing, to keys, to forms, our new colleague is ready to go!

• You take care of the internal communication via SpeakAp, our internal communication platform.

• Are there any other tasks you would like to take on? Or are you convinced that a process can be improved? Get to work! We'd love to see you improve it :)

Job requirements and personal qualities

• You are studying in the direction of HR, hotel school, tourism, business administration or similar

• You are looking for a graduation internship of at least 5 months

• You speak and write fluently and faultlessly in Dutch and English

• You are a real people-person, and like to work with people

• Flexible (not necessarily in an acrobatic way)

• You are proactive, stress resistant and like to challenge yourself

• You like to have fun, not unimportant either!

• Preferably you live in or near Amsterdam
