Expansion manager

We are Conscious Hotels, we offer the most sustainable stay and a seamless guest experience in a fun atmosphere. We have 4 sustainable hotels, 2 organic vegetarian restaurants and 2 coffee bars in Amsterdam. Together with our partner NIPA Capital we will expand throughout major cities in Europe. Our goal is to be the leading sustainable hospitality company, loved by modern, mindful travelers. In order to do so we aim to grow from 318 rooms right now to 2500 rooms in 4 target regions in Europe by 2030. To help achieve this goal we are looking for an expansion manager to join our development team.

As our expansion manager you will:

Create expansion opportunities in the 4 target regions by:

• Scouting the regions

• Representing Conscious Hotels on hotel investment fairs

• Growing our network of (real estate) partners

• Liaising with international brokers

• Managing the Conscious Hotels pitch deck and company presentations

Manage the development pipeline by:

• Maintaining and developing key target region list

• Ensuring there are enough opportunities in each phase of the pipeline to meet expansion targets

• Evaluating and underwriting development and acquisition opportunities

• Bringing opportunities to the LOI phase in collaboration with the development analyst

• Ensuring focus on high potential opportunities

Seal the deal by:

• Creating internal decision making documents for senior management and shareholders

• Presenting opportunities to the board of directors

• Negotiating the LOI terms and conditions

• Managing the contract templates

Job Requirements and Personal Qualities

In order to qualify for the job you must have:

• HBO or WO education

• 3+ years of experience in real estate investment or development in hospitality

• Extensive network with real estate partners and brokers

• You are analytical, decisive and entrepreneurial

• You have excellent communication skills

• You are highly organized

• You are willing to travel
