(Junior) Financial Officer

We are Conscious Group, we offer the most sustainable stay and a seamless guest experience in a fun atmosphere. We have 4 sustainable hotels, 2 organic restaurants and 2 coffee bars in Amsterdam within Conscious Hotels, and together with Hotel V & The Lobby we have grown to a total of 7 hotels and 4 restaurants.

Conscious Group is looking for an All-round Financial Officer to strengthen our financial team. Being part of a close team, working in a sustainable and ambitious chain and fulfilling a very important role within Conscious Group, sounds good? Read on!

What you will do

• Be the financial brain of a cluster of hotels including F&B

• Month-end and year-end controls and reporting

• Advice and meet with cluster management team

• Productivity analysis and cost calculations

• Participate in the debtors and creditors administration

• Performing balance sheet checks, reconciliations and administration

• Performing P&L checks, reconciliations and administration

• Cooperation in the forecasting and budgeting

• Work with various systems, including: AccountView, Basecone, NMBRS, StaynTouch, Lightspeed, visma.net, mews

Job requirements and personal qualities

• You have a passion for the hotel industry and finance of course
• Experience in financial administration and reporting
• The position requires a minimum availability of 32 hours, 40 is preferred
• Be precise and analytical, numbers are your friends
