At Bar Kantoor - located at the Westergasfabriek - all day food and drinks can be enjoyed. There's large role for the bar with funky cocktails and varied programming. And in the summer the large terrace is involved - o yes. The menu consists of organic dishes using fermented vegetables. The laid back atmosphere and the high-quality menu makes Bar Kantoor the go to place from morning till evening.

Demi Chef de Partie

As a (demi-) Chef de Partie at Bar Kantoor you love organic and local ingredients. No apples with air-miles. We only want good and tasty ingredients. Thankfully we in the kitchen are quite open-minded, and can find a lot of different ways to present the same ingredients.

We are looking for a party of Chef de Partie’s so bring all your best buds.

  • Teamwork: You are part of a team that needs to work together like a well-oiled machine. Not only can you work well with your team in the kitchen, but the connection and teamwork with the service team is important too!
  • Creativity: We appreciate your ideas and input, and as we work with as much local and organic ingredients as possible, it is important to be able to present these in a nice and original way. We work with as little waste possible, which sometimes means getting creative with what you have.
  • Able to work under pressure: Time-management is a very important trait in your position, making sure that mise en place is ready on time, and being able to work well under pressure with a lot happening at the same time.
  • Fun: Busy days and hard work is part of the job, but fun is also a big part of it! And that is why it is good that you can switch from a jokey mood to serious business in a split second!
